Aunty Jean was an amazing lady and my mom's best friend, they spent so many good times together. I had so many great childhood memories of the times we spent together. She made a great Yorkshire Pudding. Aunty Jean touched so many lives and will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you Paul and Tracy during this very difficult time. Sending love across the miles, wish I could of been there. Much Love Carolyn (USA)

Dear Mrs Darley I just wanted to say I was sorry, Sorry that you are gone, we miss you! your energy, your love of life and your laugh. Sorry, I wasn’t a very good adopted son. Sorry we used your home as a Hotel, .. days on end, camping out our teenage years in your lounge. Sorry, it was me, who used to steal those vanilla cup-cakes, that you so carefully used hide in the top cupboard above the fridge. You taught us … How to get back on the horse when we fell off, and not to go to sleep until the grudge was forgiven! And you tried to teach us … The Swing… the Jive … and the Jitterbug, Sorry we such a drag …. If only I could show my kids today! Sorry Jean, that you lost your man. Derek and you two made a hell of a partnership, and are the best couple that I know, from making 60’s big hair cool, to finding the best in everyone, and then inviting them all over for Christmas. “Its like Victoria Station on a Bank Holidey Mundy” You used to say. You really did live your life in the fast lane, Honestly? … I think me, Paul and the rest of us, just couldn’t keep up! We are sorry … you won’t be here to lead the way, sing that musical, give us a lift to the party … or start one when we all didn’t know what else to do. You also used to say “Stop the world I want to get off!” Well I guess it has stopped, and you got off … down here at least. But you know, I can’t see you looking down on us, looking back! You and Derek will in the middle of it … somewhere up there, And heaven will be a better place for you in it. Although, it won’t be quiet. So this is for you! Always look on the bright side of life https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHPOzQzk9Qo
